Masters Workout

Here is a nice little workout that we used while I coached at Weston. It should be good for about 90 minutes of work.

Warm-up
300 free easy  keep stroke long , deep and finish
Warm-up
3 x 200 (25 free/25 non-free) work all your turns,
keep tight streamline.
20 sec rest in between each 200

Warm-up
6 x 50 breath control – start with 6 breaths/50, and take one less each 50
50 seconds

Main Set
400 @ 70%  – try to hold 1:20 pace
3 x 100  @ 1:45
300 @ 70%  – try to hold 1:20 pace
3 x 100  @ 1:40
200 @ 70% – try to hold 1:20
3 x 100  @ 1:35
100 @ 70% – try to hold 1:20 pace
3 x 100 @ 1:30
Warm-Down
200 easy

Total = 3600 SC Yards – Have fun!
