Italian National Team and World Class Swimmer Renata Spagnolo training in Davie Florida.
Italian Champion Renata Spagnolo just moved from Italy to Davie Florida to train with the Davie Nadadores Swim Team. After an amazing year of swimming Renata became the second fastest Italian swimmer in 200 freestyle only behind the world record holder Federica Pelligrini. Renata is training for the Italian nationals in November , qualifier to the World short course championships in Dubai. We are happy and proud to have Renata with us and to continue her swimming career in Davie!. I just love her last name…!!! Coach Pete

About Coach Pete
Hi, this is Coach Pete Spagnuolo. I have recently retired from a long and successful career of over 40+ years of coaching. During those years, I have developed Junior Olympic, Sectional, and Zone Champions. I am an active member of the American Swim Coaches Association and am a Certified US Swim Coach.
I have recently relocated to Loveland, Colorado, leaving sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida where I was the head Age Group Coach for Team Weston Aquatics. I have coached national and international swimmers with world renowned U.S. Olympic Coach Jack Nelson at the Swimming Hall of Fame, Canadian Olympic Coach Nick Baker of Peak Performance Swim Camps, and Venezuelan National Team Coach, Tomas Victoria at Team Weston. I have extensive knowledge and experience in teaching stroke technique and stroke development.
In addition to being an age group coach, I am also a Masters swim coach and triathlete coach . I have coached three Hawaii Ironman Finalists and have been the personal coach of Jennifer Magnission, one of Florida’s top female triathletes.
I am writing this blog to share my wealth of experience and knowledge with fellow coaches, swimmers and swim parents. I hope you enjoy my posts and find them useful in your training and swimming careers.
