Daniela Victoria former Team Weston swimmer is swimming very well for Coach Greg Troy at the University of Florida. The young freshman swam this past week end in the Princeton University Invitational. The full results are net in yet, but in the first day of the meet Daniela swam on the first place 400 med relay posting a 1:03.06 for her leg of the race. Daniela also placed 6th in the finals of the 200 IM posting a 2:03.53. Daniela is the daughter of former Gator and head coach of the Davie Nadadores, Tomas Victoria….We will be looking for more great swims from her as we watch the Gators this season

About Coach Pete
Hi, this is Coach Pete Spagnuolo. I have recently retired from a long and successful career of over 40+ years of coaching. During those years, I have developed Junior Olympic, Sectional, and Zone Champions. I am an active member of the American Swim Coaches Association and am a Certified US Swim Coach.
I have recently relocated to Loveland, Colorado, leaving sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida where I was the head Age Group Coach for Team Weston Aquatics. I have coached national and international swimmers with world renowned U.S. Olympic Coach Jack Nelson at the Swimming Hall of Fame, Canadian Olympic Coach Nick Baker of Peak Performance Swim Camps, and Venezuelan National Team Coach, Tomas Victoria at Team Weston. I have extensive knowledge and experience in teaching stroke technique and stroke development.
In addition to being an age group coach, I am also a Masters swim coach and triathlete coach . I have coached three Hawaii Ironman Finalists and have been the personal coach of Jennifer Magnission, one of Florida’s top female triathletes.
I am writing this blog to share my wealth of experience and knowledge with fellow coaches, swimmers and swim parents. I hope you enjoy my posts and find them useful in your training and swimming careers.
