You are one hundred percent right, and I learned after two years with you, that if you put effort into training, then you WILL get something back from it! I’m glad that I had realized it, and sometimes hoped that I had realized it sooner. When practices get tough, keep on reassuring yourself that it will pay off in the end!

I totally agree with Jenna. I used to be lazy when I was 10 years old, but then I got motivated and followed what all these quotes say. The hard work has really payed off, and I have gotten better and better over they years. Now, when coach Tomas gives us a set like an hour of 100 meters on 1:20, I just think of what all these quotes stand for and put my mind to the challenge. Thanks Coach Pete, for teaching me the value of hard work!

Hey Coach!
Just wanted to tell you that this blog is very informative and it will help me in the future.
Here is another quote for you:
“The only place where success comes before work, is in the dictionary.”
Thank you for all that you have done, including this website.
Keep up the good work!

Hey Coach!
I think I have another quote for you…
“Pain is weakness leaving the body.” Everyday at practice when the going gets tough, thats what I repeat to my self.

Hey Coach Pete,
I was just reading an interview with one of the Patriots offensive line men and he was talking about “depositing money in the bank.” Looking at where they are now it is obviously working! That was one of your qoutes that really stuck with me when I was swimming with you.
Sincerely, Nick Alemann
